Human Design Transits: February 2024
Happy February! It’s the month of love. What I love about Human Design is how the transits clearly connect with our Gregorian holiday calendar. So, I thought we’d jump ahead and have a look at the transits to see which energy will be affecting us on that 14th February day.
Firstly, what are “transits”?
If you don’t already know, “Transits” in Human Design correlate to where the planets are in the sky and which gate they activate in the Human Design Mandala. So, this is a lot like astrology however we are looking at it from a different angle. These transits provide us with a collective energy however the collective energy can take us off of our own personal path. So, the way to stay grounded through these transits is to follow your Strategy and Authority (Human Design decision making tool).
Energy on the 14th February:
On the 14th February, the Sun is moving into the 30th Gate – The Gate of Feelings! A gate full of expectations, imagination and fantasy. A gate operating out of hope and pain, rooted in desire. It’s all about going through experiences and seeing how they make you FEEL. The 30th Gate is in our emotional awareness centre. As such, it has a fear or a nervousness within it. The 30th Gate has a fear of fates – will the cards be in my favour?
We’re grounded in this transit by the Earth in the 29th Gate – The Gate of Commitment. The gate of the yes. We’re wanting to say yes and commit to an experience.
Gosh – I can only imagine how many people will be saying yes to dates around and during this transit (and the Valentines period), and how many people will be feeling this transit play out.
People feeling like they should say yes to the date for the experience in the hope that the fates are aligned for them. Hoping that this person or the experience they have said yes to takes them into some kind of life change, and that they meet their person or find their thing.
As always, following your Strategy and Authority will help you to stay grounded to yourself while we move through the ever-changing waves of the transit field.
Transits for the whole of February:
3rd February – We move into the first gate of the Quarter of Initiation! We are focusing on bringing new things into the world. We are listening to people around us (Gate 13) to figure out where and how people need to be led (Gate 7). We are looking at the direction of people and companies, and we, as the collective, feel the need more than ever to move in new directions – You may be asking yourself, can I lead them there?
9th February - We move into a rebellious energy to reject anything that doesn’t serve the people we care about (49th Gate) while looking for the answers to help move us into a better future (4th Gate).
14th February – We move into the 30th and 29th Gate as I mentioned above!
20th February - After our Valentines transit, we move into the Gate of Spirit and Abundance (55th Gate) and are grounded by the Gate of Sexuality (59th Gate). Perhaps this will show us the benefits of working with the right people, or bonding with the right people. How the right people and the right bonds can help us feel abundant while others leave us feeling a lack.
25th February – We’ll be ending the month in the Channel of Community (37th and 40th Gates). We are seeking our place in the whole. Where do we fit in? Who are our tribe? Who can I rely on as a friend? What’s the balance within the group dynamic? Are your needs also being met within your group situations?
