Human Design Transits: April 2024
Welcome to April! This month we are grounded in our intuition. Every single grounding Earth Transit Gate this month is in the Splenic Centre – intuition and instinct. This energy is putting an emphasis on the need to ground yourself in the moment and your intuition will spark.
We start the month in the 21st Gate – The Gate of Control. This heart energy gate is seeking out stability in terms of finances and material items. It’s a hunter/huntress gate that wants to be able to independently gather the material items (house, belongings) and finances it needs. It wants to have complete control over these things. The energy is also one that tries to control the external stimuli around you. How can I change something around me to bring me inner peace? What words can I use to control another person to do something that I need? Yet, you are reminded this transit, the only thing you can control is yourself and your own inner world. Watch around you as people speak on this to varying degrees. We’re grounded in the 48th Gate – The Gate of Depth. This gate doubts its own abilities and knowing, yet is filled with deep intuition and knowing. When you get out of your mind here, you’ll have access to a depth of intuitive, instinctual knowing – and this is what can ground you.
On the 5th, we stay in the heart energy with the solar transit moving into the 51st Gate – The Gate of Shock. This mystical gate jumps in shocking directions and can take shocking decisions. It takes leaps of faith. The shock is usually something we can withstand as long as it was decided by our strategy and authority, while it may be shocking to others as they say, “I couldn’t do that”. This isn’t something people can join you on the ride with – unless they also decided through strategy and authority. Interestingly, we’re grounded this week by the 57th Gate – another splenic gate – the Gate of Intuition. This is a deeply intuitive and instinctual energy. It’s intuitive clarity in the now. See how you are pulled into perhaps spontaneous directions this week. Remember, it’s going to be really important this week to ground yourself in your strategy and authority. The majority of us in the world are not here to make spontaneous decisions.
On the 11th, our focus is pulled towards growth. These few days here are important days for launching, building and growing – even astrologically speaking. From a Human Design perspective, this week’s energy wants to build things that last and withstand the test of time (Gate 42 – The Gate of Growth). The energy asks us to bring things to completion – the end of a cycle. But the energy also wants to lay the way to build on a legacy. This gate teaches us the only thing that is consistent is change, and you’re building and growing inside and out so that you and your businesses, friendships etc can withstand those inevitable changes. The driving force behind this is the grounding Gate 32 – The Gate of Continuity. It has a fear of complete and utter failure driving it. This week you’ll have the energy backing you to create something that you feel can withstand failure. It’s a strong energy week.
On the 16th, new things we start may be a little tricky to get out, yet you may feel a real inner drive to push through that and bring new mutative things into the world (Gate 3 – The Gate of Ordering & Difficulty at the Beginning). We’re grounded in the 50th Gate – The Gate of Values. This is a traditions gate and has us focusing on responsibilities and nurturing people. Watch as you may focus your attention on what responsibilities you have on your plate at the moment. Are you taking on too many responsibilities or not enough? And are your values and traditions being conveyed through the work that you do and the conversations you are having? What is important to you?
On the 22nd, the Sun moves into the 27th Gate – The Gate of Caring, and the Earth moves into the 28th Gate – The Gate of Risk Taking. The energy of taking risks for those who you care about. Are you waiting for invitations before doing this? Otherwise these decisions could be spontaneously taken and initiated therefore taking you off track. The 27th Gate also reminds us that we need to take care of ourselves first. Many of us pour from an empty cup. So, say yes to yourself and your own selfcare. The 28th Gate is taking risks to find purpose.
Finally, on the 28th, the sun moves into the 24th Gate – The Gate of Rationalization. Spontaneous knowings and answers dropping in. We’re grounded in this transit by the 44th Gate – The Gate of Alertness. This gate is filled with fear about the past. Will the past repeat itself? Will my past catch up with me? It’s likely you’ll find answers this week about how to break out of those repeating patterns, or maybe have a greater awareness about what those patterns are. See what answers drop in at this time.
Remember, this month, there is a real intuitive background grounding energy. This can give us inner guidance in the now when we are still and listening to our inner self. In some ways this is great! In other ways, you’ll need to hold yourself accountable. We may be drawn in for spontaneous decisions and these will have the potential of taking the majority of us off track. Strategy and Authority is ALWAYS your reliable inner guide. Not the advice of others, or the transit influences. You are your own guidance system.
